Air defence downs 82 attack drones during the day, including 57 jet-powered UAVs

The Ukrainian Air Force has reported that Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 99 strike UAVs during the day on 1 September, 72 of which were jet-powered.

Details: Early reports indicate that between 06:30 and 18:00, Ukrainian air defence forces shot down or jammed 82 strike UAVs, including 57 jet-powered drones.
As of 18:30, around 10 jet-powered strike UAVs remained in Ukrainian airspace. New groups of drones were also entering the country.
The Air Force urged people not to ignore air-raid warnings.
Background: On the night of 31 August-1 September, Russia attacked Ukraine with Iskander-M/KN-23/S-400 ballistic missiles, Zircon anti-ship missiles, Kalibr cruise missiles, Kh-31P anti-radiation missiles, Banderol missile drones and 218 UAVs of various types. Strikes were recorded at 28 locations.
