Several more EU countries summon Russian diplomats over Leipzig incident
Several European Union member states have summoned representatives of Russian embassies over the hybrid attack in Leipzig, for which Germany has held Moscow responsible.

Details: Finland's Ministry for Foreign Affairs condemned Russia's "dangerous and irresponsible" actions and summoned the Russian ambassador.
"Russia's actions will receive a firm and clear response," the ministry said in a statement.
Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka said that Germany's findings regarding the drone attack on Leipzig/Halle Airport were alarming and should be taken seriously.
He stressed that he planned to discuss the issue with Czech intelligence services in the coming days and said he had summoned Russian Ambassador to Czechia Anna Ponomaryova.
Sweden, Portugal and Denmark have also summoned Russian ambassadors.
"The Russian ambassador has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a meeting. Germany has stated that Russia is behind the failed hybrid attack in Leipzig. We stand shoulder to shoulder in NATO and the EU. We remain steadfast in our support for Ukraine and in strengthening our collective defence capabilities," Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said.

- On the same day, the European Union, as well as France, Belgium and the Netherlands, summoned representatives of the Russian embassies.
- On 1 September, Germany directly accused Russia of the hybrid attack at Leipzig Airport in early August and announced retaliatory measures, including the closure of the Russian Consulate General in Bonn and the Russian House in Berlin. In connection with this, Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul summoned the Russian ambassador.
- On 4 August, an explosive-laden drone was discovered at Leipzig/Halle Airport near a Ukrainian Antonov cargo aircraft.
