Drone equipped with explosives found near Ukrainian aircraft at Leipzig airport – dpa
It has emerged that a drone equipped with explosives and a detonator was discovered near a Ukrainian aircraft at Leipzig/Halle airport in Germany on the night of 4-5 August.

Details: Several aircraft, including a passenger plane, were rerouted after an unidentified flying object was reported and a suspicious item was discovered at the airport in eastern Germany.
The northern part of the airport reopened early on 5 August, but the southern runway has remained closed due to an ongoing investigation.
The suspicious item was found near the southern runway and examined by police, who deployed a bomb disposal robot.
Police have been establishing whether there is any connection between the unidentified flying object and the suspicious item. A police spokesperson said there was no immediate danger.
