Russia attacked Ukraine with 163 drones overnight, 135 shot down

Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with 163 drones since the evening of 2 September, with 135 aerial assets destroyed or jammed.

Quote: "On the night of 2-3 September (from 18:00 on 2 September), the enemy attacked with 163 Shahed (about half of them jet-powered), S8000 Bandеrol and Gerbera attack drones as well as Parodiya decoy UAVs launched from Millerovo, Oryol, the occupied part of Donetsk Oblast and Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea.
Early reports indicated that as of 08:30, [Ukrainian] air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 135 aerial assets."
Details: Hits have been recorded at 15 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at four locations.
Background:
- A Russian attack damaged a high-rise residential building in Odesa on the night of 2-3 September, injuring 17 people, including three children.
- Kyiv Oblast Military Administration also reported that one person had been injured in the Boryspil district as a result of the Russian attack.
