Ukraine's defence forces strike Russian BK-16 boat and electronic warfare system

Ukraine's defence forces struck a BK-16 landing craft, an electronic warfare system, a Russian UAV command post and ammunition and equipment depots over the past day and on the night of 2-3 September.

Quote: "On 2 September and on the night of 2-3 September 2026, units of Ukraine's defence forces struck a number of enemy military targets.

In Sevastopol, Crimea, a BK-16 landing craft was struck. The extent of the damage is being assessed."

Details: A Krasukha-4 mobile electronic warfare station was also struck in the vicinity of temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

In addition, a Russian UAV command post was struck near Mariine in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.

In Donetsk Oblast, a Russian UAV depot was struck in Zhelanne, while an ammunition depot was struck near Ilovaisk.

Among other targets, Russian facilities at the Vostochnyi training ground in Novopetrivka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, were also struck.

The extent of the damage is being assessed.

For reference: The General Staff reports that the BK-16 is a high-speed Project 02510 transport and landing craft designed to carry and land troops, including on undeveloped shorelines, as well as to perform patrol and counter-sabotage missions. The craft has a full displacement of about 20.5 tonnes and is approximately 16 metres long. Its crew consists of two people, while it can carry up to 19 troops. The craft can be equipped with machine guns and grenade launchers.

The Krasukha-4 (1RL257) is a mobile long-range electronic warfare system designed to suppress the airborne radars of aircraft and helicopters, as well as radar systems on unmanned aerial vehicles. The system can also interfere with communications equipment and other electronic systems.
