Zelenskyy: US to increase Patriot missile production in 2027, Ukraine is counting on these systems

The US will increase production of Patriot missiles in 2027, and Ukraine is counting on increased supplies of missiles capable of intercepting ballistic threats.

Quote: "The Americans are going to increase the volume of anti-ballistic Patriot missile production.

And we are counting on [this] in any case, even if, God willing, the war ends, we will still need this. We are counting on such systems to protect our state. So we will increase the volume next year. I am absolutely certain of this."

Details: The president also announced upcoming meetings in Norway and Canada to strengthen Ukraine's anti-ballistic missile capabilities.

"I will have meetings in Norway and in Canada. We need to finalise several things. Our Ukrainian anti-ballistic system – we will have the relevant meetings in the near future. I think we will move as quickly as possible towards this result," he stressed.

In addition, Zelenskyy noted that Germany is also increasing Patriot missile production.

"They [Germany – ed.] have the relevant licences, and we have separate agreements there," Zelenskyy said.
