Massive Russian attack on Mykolaiv and oblast: port and shopping centre damaged, woman killed, people injured – video, photos

Russian forces launched a large-scale attack on Mykolaiv and Mykolaiv Oblast on the night of 8-9 September, damaging port facilities, civilian infrastructure sites and residential buildings. A woman has been killed and four people have been injured.

Quote: "Over the past day and this morning, the enemy attacked Mykolaiv Oblast. Overnight, the enemy launched a large-scale combined attack on the oblast using Shahed-238 attack UAVs, Iskander-M ballistic missiles, Banderol missiles and a guided aerial bomb."
Details: In Mykolaiv, the attacks damaged facilities in the transport, port, and civilian infrastructure sectors as well as a shopping centre, a postal terminal, a café, two houses, and four lorries. One lorry was destroyed.

Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration reported that a 70-year-old woman had been killed. Two men aged 74 and 66, a 44-year-old woman and a 15-year-old child were injured.

"A 66-year-old man has been taken to hospital and is in a moderate condition. A 74-year-old man, a 44-year-old woman and a 15-year-old child received the necessary medical treatment and will continue treatment as outpatients," the authorities reported.
Russian forces also attacked the Halytsynove hromada A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed with a guided aerial bomb overnight, damaging industrial infrastructure facilities. Energy infrastructure sites were damaged in the Berezanka hromada in a Shahed drone attack. No casualties were reported in either attack.
In addition, Russian forces carried out two FPV drone attacks on the Kutsurub and Ochakiv hromadas on 8 September. A house was damaged in the village of Dniprovske. No casualties were reported.
