Russia launches marketplace selling counter-UAV systems and other equipment

Russian state-owned corporation Rostec has launched the industrial marketplace PCAT.ru, with counter-UAV systems among its most sought-after products.

Details: The platform allows businesses to present their products and production capabilities, find ready-made solutions and establish production chains for specific projects.

According to Rostec, PCAT.ru currently brings together more than 180 companies and research organisations. The platform offers over 1,250 ready-made products and 370 production capabilities.

The Russian state corporation claims that more than 23,000 users access the platform every day, while 60% of enquiries come from corporations and large businesses.

In addition to counter-UAV systems, Rostec listed all-terrain vehicles, as well as aerostatic and aerodynamic systems, among the most sought-after products on PCAT.ru.

The platform has been integrated with the Bank of Technologies and a Moscow service for finding alternative suppliers. Rostec also said that companies in Krasnodar Krai and Tver, Tula and Ryazan oblasts had gained access to federal cooperation through PCAT.ru.

The platform is operated by the Rosel holding company, which is part of Rostec.

Shortly after announcing the launch of PCAT.ru, Rostec reported a cyberattack on the platform that made it unavailable. The corporation said it is working to resume the site's operation.

Background: Earlier, it was reported that Russia's Roy.Market service is being relaunched as a full-fledged marketplace for the needs of Russian armed forces. The platform includes components for drones, among other products, and its catalogue is planned to expand to more than 10,000 items by 2027.
