Ukrainian Ai-Petri electronic warfare system capable of suppressing guided aerial bombs presented at exhibition in Poland – photos
Ukraine's Ai-Petri electronic warfare system has been shown for the first time at the MSPO-2026 international exhibition in Poland. The system can jam drone control signals and suppress guided aerial bombs.

Details: Development of the electronic warfare system began in 2014, when Russia annexed Crimea. The name Ai-Petri was chosen after the highest mountain in Crimea.
The Storkway representative said tactical-level systems have been supplied to the front since 2024 and were used, in particular, in cooperation with the 12th Special Purpose Centre. The company has already supplied around 400 electronic warfare systems, which operate along the entire contact line.
Quote: "It can be produced in two versions: fixed or mobile. It is transported on a pickup truck, can be easily deployed in 10 minutes by two crew members and begin operating. It consists of a rotating platform on which modules are installed, each with two channels, or jammers. The module also has a detection antenna and a radar that 'listens' to the radio frequencies of approaching drones."
More details: The electronic warfare system operates in the frequency range from 300MHz to 6GHz. Ai-Petri has a full-rotation function and scans the area across 360 degrees, while the coverage angle of one logarithmic antenna is about 45 degrees.
In detection mode, the system consumes 250W of power, rising to as much as 2,000W when jamming assets. The Storkway representative said that, depending on the terrain, the system can detect assets at a range of 20-30km.
Ai-Petri jams attack and reconnaissance drones and can also affect guided aerial bombs.
Quote: "Means of attack are evolving. We even have a slogan: if the enemy invents a virus, we immediately create an antivirus. Thanks to our military, they send feedback and we create new profiles to suppress new systems effectively and as quickly as possible."
More details: The manufacturer developed its own software for the Ai-Petri system, based on the Lyra situational awareness system. It allows data to be collected from other radars and creates a unified field for detecting and intercepting aerial threats.
Quote: "It can integrate with the radar field. The system has direct communication with Robin and Saab Giraffe radars, and our Lyra system brings all this information together and provides communication on what is located where, so that it can be guided effectively."
Background: It was reported earlier that Ukrainian company Unwave, which specialises in electronic warfare development, is upgrading its Bashur system for detecting and analysing UAV video signals. The system has been given a mesh network detection function, while its operating range has been expanded from 6GHz to 10GHz.
