Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani has urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to expand the group of European countries involved in peace negotiations, specifically by including Italy and Poland.

Details: Tajani said that Kyiv should involve more than just the European Three (E3) – France, the United Kingdom and Germany – in the negotiations.

"Europe can do a great deal, but I believe Zelenskyy should look not to individual European states but to all EU countries. There is no need for initiatives by small groups," he noted.

"I offer this advice as a friend of Ukraine: it would be wise to involve not only France and Germany but also Italy and Poland," he added.
