Drones attack oil refinery and Ozon logistics centre in Russia's Saratov – video

Drones struck the Saratov oil refinery in Russia on the night of 10-11 September. A fire has also broken out at a logistics centre operated by major Russian e-commerce company Ozon.

Details: Monitoring Telegram channels reported a fire at an oil refinery in Saratov Oblast overnight. Busargin reported a drone threat in the area at around 02:00.

Quote from Busargin: "Local warning systems may be activated in areas where there is a possible threat. All the emergency services have been placed on full alert."

Details: Monitoring Telegram channels also reported a fire at an Ozon logistics hub. Explosions were also heard in Engels in Saratov Oblast.

Ozon's press service later said that drones had attacked its logistics centre and delivery hub in Saratov.

Quote from Ozon: "Our logistics centre and delivery hub in Saratov has come under a UAV attack. We promptly evacuated our employees and, according to early reports, there were no casualties. A fire broke out and emergency services are working at the scene."

Background: The Ryazan oil refinery belonging to Rosneft, a major Russian state-controlled oil and gas company, stopped operating after a drone attack on 6 September, and repairs to the damaged units may take several weeks.
