EU approves €6.1 billion for drones and PAC-3 missiles for Ukraine, set to transfer €4.3bn soon
On 11 September, the European Commission approved €6.1 billion for Ukraine as part of its overall €90 billion loan, to be used for purchasing drones and PAC-3 interceptor missiles for Patriot air defence systems, and is preparing to disburse the next tranche of €4.3 billion.

Details: The European Commission will finance €6.1 billion worth of drones and PAC-3 interceptor missiles for Ukraine.

More details: Kubilius said "the decision officially enables Ukraine to procure PAC-3 missiles for Patriots".

More details: Kubilius pointed out that, as of now, "with today's decision, we managed to achieve such an outcome that all the €28.3 billion, which were allocated for this year to finance Ukraine defence from Ukraine Support Loan now are decided".
