German news agency DPA reported on 10 September about a major police operation at the Ukrainian consulate general in Düsseldorf due to an "unclear threat".

Details: A local police spokeswoman reported an "unclear threat" at the Ukrainian consulate general.
She confirmed that a large operation was being conducted near the building but initially provided no details about what had occurred.
The Ukrainian diplomatic mission was surrounded over a wide area in the early evening.
Police cordoned off a section of a street in the centre of Düsseldorf, with several police vehicles present at the scene.
