Number injured in Odesa Oblast rises to 35 after massive Russian attack, two still missing – photos, video
As of 11:00 on 12 September, the number of people injured in the latest Russian attack on Odesa Oblast has risen to 35, including a five-month-old baby. Two more people remain unaccounted for.

Details: In Odesa, the strike caused flats to catch fire from the 20th to the 22nd floor of a 25-storey residential building.
Emergency workers saved seven people, including two children. Some residents were trapped in a lift.

In Chornomorsk, one residential building was destroyed and a further three damaged. A gas pipe was also damaged, causing a fire to break out in the building.
In addition, a hotel housing a rehabilitation centre was damaged, along with cars parked nearby. Emergency workers helped people who were unable to move on their own.
In total, emergency workers saved 13 people, including two children.
Search-and-rescue operations are ongoing, as two people remain unaccounted for.
Background: Russian forces launched a missile attack on the city of Odesa on the morning of 12 September. A high-rise residential building has been damaged and 23 people have been injured.
