Russian attack sparks fire at petrol station near Yahodyn border crossing with Poland

A petrol station near the Yahodyn border crossing on the border with Poland has been damaged in a Russian attack on Volyn Oblast, and several lorries have also caught fire.

Details: Chernysh said falling debris had caused a fire at the petrol station premises and several lorries parked nearby had also caught fire.

During the air raid, all border operations were suspended and people took shelter.

Meanwhile, Demchenko stressed that the Yahodyn border crossing was not hit during the overnight Russian aerial attack.

He noted that, given Russia's intensified aerial attacks on Ukraine and the resulting air-raid warnings, border crossing operations are suspended for safety reasons.
