Russians receive new batch of tanks with upgraded anti-drone protection
Russian forces have received a new batch of T-90M Proryv and T-72B3M tanks. The vehicles have been equipped with upgraded anti-drone protection.

Details: The tanks, manufactured at the sanctioned Uralvagonzavod plant, have been fitted with all-round protection. The Russians claim that the system protecting the tanks from attack UAVs has been upgraded to "provide the vehicle with maximum protection".
"Additional protection is being developed, primarily against unmanned aerial vehicles. Certain innovations are also being introduced in the additional equipment section, which helps operate in combat conditions," the corporation said.
In a video posted by Rostec, the tank turrets are covered with screens made of metal cables, grilles and chains. Additional protection has also been installed on the sides.
The Russians claim that each tank must travel at least 100 km before being sent to the front line so that the vehicles can be tested and any defects eliminated.
Russia did not disclose the number of tanks or the front to which the vehicles were sent.
