Ukrainska Pravda: Prosecutor General Kravchenko has left for Paris for five days – document
Ukraine's Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko has left for Paris for five days "to take part in PACE hearings on Ukrainian children".

Details: According to the order, Kravchenko states that he departed by car "in order to attend a hearing of the PACE Parliamentary Network titled 'Parliamentary measures on Ukrainian children in the context of international accountability'", acting under Article 9 of Ukraine's Law "On the Prosecutor's Office".
The trip is scheduled to last five days, starting from 13 September.
The order also states that all expenses will be covered by the organisers.
The Prosecutor General's Office has confirmed this information to Ukrainska Pravda.
Update: However, according to the agenda for these PACE-led hearings, Kravchenko's name does not appear on the list of participants in the discussion.
Background:
- On 7 September, amid an investigation by Ukraine's anti-corruption agencies, Kravchenko submitted his resignation as Prosecutor General.
- On the morning of 14 September, Kravchenko said he had signed a notice of suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos and accused NABU and SAPO of unlawfully seizing materials relating to cases against their employees in the course of searches conducted as part of Operation Carthage in order to prevent procedural decisions in those cases.
- Ukrainska Pravda reported that according to sources in law enforcement, Kravchenko left Ukraine in an official vehicle on the night of 13-14 September. Kravchenko confirmed that he had travelled abroad but said that he was on an official trip.
- Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on parliament to urgently approve Kravchenko's resignation.
- Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said that parliament had received a motion from President Zelenskyy seeking Kravchenko's dismissal. The Verkhovna Rada Law Enforcement Committee has supported the motion.
