Russians attack energy infrastructure in six regions

A large-scale Russian attack has caused new power outages in six Ukrainian regions.

Details: The affected regions are Sumy, Cherkasy, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Kharkiv oblasts.

"Emergency repair work is already underway wherever safety conditions currently allow. Power engineers are working to repair equipment damaged by Russian forces and resume its operation as soon as possible," Ukrenergo said.

Electricity consumption has decreased. As of 09:30 on 10 September, it was 7% lower than on the previous day.

Power engineers are asking consumers to shift their active use of electricity to 11:00-15:00.

Background: A power line has been damaged by debris from Russian aerial assets, leaving 18 settlements in Mykolaiv Oblast without electricity.
