Lithuania's foreign minister confirms Polish intel on Russia preparing hybrid attacks against Ukraine's allies

Kęstutis Budrys, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, has confirmed that his country also possesses intelligence about Russia preparing hybrid attacks against Ukraine's allies after a similar warning from Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Details: Budrys' comment concerned a recent statement by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who warned of Russian "plans for hybrid attacks using drones and missiles against countries supporting Ukraine, particularly Poland".

As the minister noted, public warnings from politicians regarding the threat are part of coordinated campaigns aimed at discouraging Moscow from staging provocations.

Quote: "I want to assure everyone that Lithuania has the same intelligence information as other countries in the region and countries that have deployed their troops here. There is no other information."

Details: According to the minister, he discussed this topic with the NATO secretary general, his deputy, and commanders of the armed forces of European countries. "I wanted to make sure we were talking about the same thing. The news is this – yes, we are talking about the exact same thing. Lithuania has the same information; we discussed this as a potential false-flag operation by Russia," Budrys stressed.
