Russians strike commuter train in Kharkiv Oblast: seven people seriously injured, one killed

Russian forces struck a commuter train in Kharkiv Oblast, with early reports indicating that one person was killed and seven passengers sustained serious injuries.

Details: Ukrzaliznytsia reported that the injured passengers had failed to move a safe distance away from the train during the evacuation.

Quote: "We stress that during an evacuation, passengers must strictly follow the instructions of the train crew. If there is no shelter nearby, you must move at least 200 metres away from the train and railway infrastructure.

This rule can save lives."

Update: According to Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, as of 12:20, a 40-year-old man had been killed as a result of the UAV attack on a commuter train. Seven people had been injured and were receiving medical assistance.

Emergency services were dealing with the aftermath of the attack, Syniehubov added.
