Ukraine's defence forces strike Russian drone ground control stations, training ground and ammo depot

On 18 September and the night of 18-19 September, Ukraine's defence forces struck eight ground control stations for Russian drones in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, as well as a training ground and an ammunition depot.

Details: Ukrainian forces struck the drone ground control stations in the areas of Luhanske and Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast, as well as Volodymyrivka, Verbove, Novoprokopivka, Dobropillia and Rivnopillia in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Two control stations were struck near Novoprokopivka alone.

Ukraine's defence forces also struck the Vostochnyi training ground in the area of temporarily occupied Novopetrivka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and an ammunition depot near Amvrosiivka in Donetsk Oblast.

In addition, the General Staff confirmed that a Russian 80P6 radar station in the area of Mytiuli, Russia's Smolensk Oblast, was damaged in a strike on 17 September.

Background: Russia lost 1,520 soldiers killed and wounded over the past day, bringing its total number of personnel losses to 1,516,430.
