Zelenskyy responds to Trump and says Ukraine is ready for de-escalation: "Solutions are possible"

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said Ukraine is willing to work towards the de-escalation of the war and will discuss diplomatic proposals with its partners.

Details: Zelenskyy responded to a social media post by US President Donald Trump in which he said Russia has lost control of its oil refining industry and urged Russia to end its "never-ending War" against Ukraine.

Zelenskyy agreed with Trump that the war needs to end, pointing out that Ukraine has sought peace from the very first minute of Russia's invasion.

Quote: "We have already made dozens of diplomatic proposals on how to end this war with dignity, guarantee security and prevent new Russian invasions. Right now, there is a dialogue with President Trump and America."

More details: Zelenskyy said ideas are being considered to bring peace closer and de-escalate the war. Specifically, Russia should be forced to end its strikes on energy facilities, critical infrastructure and Ukraine's food exports.
