"He dreamed of becoming a psychologist and helping people": student, 20, dies after Russian attack on Dnipro

Dmytro Halak, a 20-year-old student at Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, has died in hospital from injuries sustained in a Russian attack on Dnipro.

Details: Dmytro sustained severe injuries when Russian forces struck warehouses belonging to Nova Poshta (Nova Post), Ukraine's largest private postal operator, on 3 September. Doctors fought to save his life for almost three weeks, but he could not be saved.

The young man was a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Psychology and Special Education.

Background: On 3 September, Russian forces struck the warehouses of a logistics company. One person was killed and several others were injured in the attack.
