Russians are attacking Kyiv: urban rail service suspended

Kyiv's urban rail service has been suspended due to a drone attack on the capital on the morning of 23 September. Strikes have been recorded, and fires have broken out in several districts.

Quote from KCSA: "According to Kyiv City Express [city train service company – ed.], train services in both directions have been temporarily suspended due to an increased aerial threat to the capital."

Details: A yellow-level air-raid warning has been in effect in the capital since 06:00 due to a drone threat. Explosions have been heard in the city.

Early reports say that debris from downed aerial assets landed between residential buildings and on premises belonging to a transport company in the Solomianskyi district, where a fire broke out.

In the Holosiivskyi district, a fire also broke out at a warehouse. First responders are heading to the scene.

Information is currently being gathered on the damage and casualties.
