Russians hit Kyiv with ballistic missiles: two killed, eight injured – photos
Two people are known to have been killed and eight injured in a Russian ballistic missile strike on Kyiv on the night of 23-24 September.

Details: Since the beginning of the night there had been reports of several waves of ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv, numerous explosions in the capital, damage caused, and calls for medical assistance.
Klitschko also said a house in Kyiv's Dniprovskyi district had been partially destroyed after debris fell in the courtyard of a private property. There may be people trapped under the rubble.
In the Podilskyi district, debris fell on a car park near a medical facility, causing vehicles to catch fire.
Update: Klitschko later reported that windows and part of the facade of a maternity hospital in the Podilskyi district had been damaged after missile debris fell nearby.
Early reports indicate that there are no casualties at the medical facility.
However, Klitschko said that one person had been killed in a car park near the facility.
A nearby medical diagnostic centre was also damaged.
"As of now, two people have been killed and three injured in the capital. All those injured have been taken to hospital," he stated.
He also reported that debris had fallen at two more locations in the Dniprovskyi district, both on the grounds of private properties. One of the houses was damaged.
Missile debris fell onto a road in the Darnytskyi district.

Update: In the morning, emergency services reported that the number of people injured in the ballistic missile strike on Kyiv overnight had risen to eight.
According to the State Emergency Service, warehouse buildings in the Solomianskyi district were partially destroyed and subsequently caught fire, with the flames spreading to basement areas. The fire has been extinguished. Three people were taken to hospital.
In the Podilskyi district, a fire broke out involving four cars in a car park following the strike near the maternity hospital. The fire was extinguished and a body was found.
At another location, a single-storey non-residential building caught fire. This fire was also extinguished.
In the Dniprovskyi district, another person was injured, while a fire in an office building was also extinguished.
At another location, a house was destroyed and two neighbouring houses were damaged. A fire was extinguished and one person was rescued.
