Iskander-M missile debris found in Kyiv following Russian attack and removed by bomb disposal experts
Bomb disposal experts from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) have recovered debris from a Russian Iskander-M missile following an attack in Kyiv on the night of 23-24 September.

Quote: "Bomb disposal experts from the State Emergency Service in Kyiv have recovered harmless debris from a Russian Iskander-M missile. This was discovered in one of the capital's districts following an overnight enemy attack."
Details: SES told Ukrainska Pravda that this part of the Russian missile posed no danger to residents.
"Using a heavy-duty bomb disposal vehicle fitted with a manipulator arm, emergency workers recovered the missile debris and transported it for subsequent destruction."
The service warned the public, however, that they should not approach similar objects as they might be dangerous.
"If you notice a suspicious object, do not approach it or touch it. Call 101," SES said.
Background:
- Russia attacked Ukraine with Zircon anti-ship missiles, Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 282 drones of various types on the night of 23-24 September. Strikes have been recorded at 13 locations.
- Two people are known to have been killed and eight injured in the Russian strike on Kyiv.
