Russian attacks caused more power cuts in six Ukrainian regions

As of the morning of 25 September, new power cuts have been recorded in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Odesa and Mykolaiv oblasts as a result of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.

Details: Emergency repairs are already underway where the security situation permits. Energy workers are repairing damaged equipment and restoring power supply to consumers.

The company advises shifting the use of high-power electrical appliances to the period between 11:00 and 15:00 and avoiding turning them on simultaneously from 16:00 to 22:00.

Background: Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 295 attack drones of various types, Banderol/Dan-T drone missiles and Parodiya decoy UAVs since the evening of 24 September. Ukrainian air defences destroyed 267 drones, although some strikes were recorded.
