Ukraine's forces strike another Russian Kasta radar station – General Staff

Units from Ukraine's defence forces struck a number of Russian military targets on 28 September and on the night of 28-29 September 2026, including a radar station.

Details: The General Staff added that Russian UAV ground control stations were hit in Kyrnosove and Novoaidar, Luhansk Oblast. Ammunition depots belonging to Russian units were also struck in Druzhnie in Luhansk Oblast, Novoiehorivka in Kharkiv Oblast and Kachkarske in Donetsk Oblast.

"In addition, a Russian logistics depot was struck in Komysh-Zoria, Zaporizhzhia Oblast," Ukraine's General Staff said.

Background:

• On 23 September and on the night of 23-24 September 2026, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian 35N6 Kasta radar station near Chekhohrad (formerly Novohrodivka) and a P-18 radar station near Yakymivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
• In addition, another Kasta radar station was struck near the settlement of Pikuzy in Donetsk Oblast on 20 September and on the night of 20-21 September 2026.
