Ukrainian forces strike costly Russian Kasta radar for second time in a month

The General Staff has reported that Ukraine's defence forces struck a Russian mobile Kasta radar station in the occupied part of Donetsk Oblast, as well as a Russian drone ground control station.

Details: A Russian Kasta radar station was struck in the area of the settlement of Pikuzy, Donetsk Oblast.

The General Staff said that the Kasta-2E2 (39N6) radar is a mobile radar system for detecting aircraft, missiles and drones at low altitudes. Its range extends up to 150 km, with an estimated cost starting at US$60 million.

A Russian drone ground control station was also struck in the area of Dniproenerhiia, Donetsk Oblast.

In addition, a cluster of Russian troops was struck near Staryi Khutir, Russia's Belgorod Oblast.
