Large-scale Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast: child killed, houses and infrastructure facilities damaged

A child has been killed and three people injured in a Russian missile and drone attack on Kyiv Oblast on the night of 29-30 September. Houses have been destroyed or damaged and infrastructure facilities affected.

Quote: "Rescue workers have pulled three people from under the rubble of a destroyed house in Vyshhorod. One of them is a child who is suffering from shock. A man has sustained shrapnel wounds to the head, while a woman suffered a leg injury. They are receiving the necessary medical treatment.

Sadly, the body of a child has been found under the rubble. Rescue workers are working to clear the rubble. This is a terrible tragedy. My sincere condolences to the child's family and loved ones."

Details: Houses were damaged and destroyed and fires broke out in a residential building and garages in the Vyshhorod district. The windows of a building were also damaged.

Three houses, 11 cars and two warehouse buildings were damaged and a fire broke out in the Bucha district.

The attack also caused damage at infrastructure facilities in the Bucha, Vyshhorod and Obukhiv districts.

Tkachenko added that all the appropriate services are working at the sites.

Background: Russian forces also attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles the same night. Fires broke out across the city, including houses in a residential area and two people were injured.
