President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has posted a video showing the Russian drone strike on the Pivnichnyi (North) Bridge in Kyiv on the morning of 4 October and said that Russia has used more than 1,900 attack drones against Ukraine over the past week, more than 800 of them jet-powered.

Details: Zelenskyy said Russian forces again attacked the Pivnichnyi Bridge in Kyiv with a drone on the morning of 4 October.

The Russians also attacked a medical supplies warehouse in Sumy and a telecommunications facility in Dnipro. One person was killed and six were injured in the strikes.

Zelenskyy said that over the past week, Russian forces have used more than 1,900 attack drones, 1,700 aerial bombs and 25 missiles against Ukraine. Over 800 of the drones were jet-powered.

The president also said that German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is in Kyiv on 4 October and announced "important agreements" between Ukraine and Germany on strengthening defence.
