Three people were killed and 39 injured, including children, when Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with at least three guided aerial bombs and a combat drone on 5 October.

Update: Terekhov reported that the death toll has risen to three and the number of people injured now stands at 29.

Meanwhile, Syniehubov reported that 39 people are receiving medical treatment following the guided aerial bomb strike on Kharkiv. The aftermath of the attack is being dealt with.

Quote from Terekhov: "Twenty-nine people are currently known to have been injured, including three children. One of those injured is a street cleaner. Three people are dead."

Details: Terekhov previously reported two dead and 25 injured.

Russian forces also struck a petrol station in Kharkiv's Kyivskyi district with a combat drone.

The aerial bombs hit the Slobidskyi district, causing warehouses to catch fire and damaging residential buildings.

According to Terekhov, there may be people trapped under the rubble of one of the residential buildings. Search and rescue operations and the inspection of the strike sites are underway.

Background: On the evening of 4 October, one person was killed and eight others were injured in Kharkiv's Industrialnyi district in a Russian strike involving Banderol drone-launched cruise missiles, one of which hit a car.
