The strike drone is launched from a compact pneumatic catapult manufactured by BlueBird Tech. It is controlled by an operator and transmits video and telemetry in real time.
Background:
- In the summer, it was reported that BlueBird Tech had upgraded the Bebradrone. Key updates included a rotating mast mechanism and the implementation of a wired connection between the ground control station and the drone.
- BlueBird Tech recently unveiled a new version of the fixed-wing Bebradrone called the Bebradrone-M. The special version is designed to train pilots and operators of interceptor drones and to practise scenarios for shooting down aerial assets using a real UAV.
