Russia strikes bridge in Zaporizhzhia: five injured – photo

Russian forces have struck a bridge over the Dnipro River in the city of Zaporizhzhia. It has been temporarily closed to traffic. Five people have been injured.

Update: Semikin said the number of people injured had risen to five. They are women aged 24 and 59 and men aged 36, 43 and 54.

Two of the men, aged 43 and 54, are Red Cross workers. They were travelling to work when the attack took place. All those injured are receiving medical treatment.

Quote: "The enemy attacked one of the bridges over the Dnipro River in Zaporizhzhia.

Traffic on the bridge has been temporarily restricted as a result of the attack."

Details: Initially, two men aged 43 and 54 were reported injured. They were hospitalised with minor injuries.

Residents of Zaporizhzhia are urged to take the traffic restrictions into account and follow official updates.
