Number injured in Kremenchuk rises to 47 after Russian attack, two people killed

Two people were killed and the number of people injured has risen to 47, including two children, as a result of a Russian attack on Kremenchuk on 7 October.

An emergency response headquarters continues to operate in the city. Police officers and officers from the Security Service of Ukraine are documenting the aftermath of the attack and gathering information on casualties and the extent of the damage.
Background:
- Earlier, Diakivnych reported that two people had been killed and 34 injured, including two children aged about 14.
- According to information from the Housing and Communal Services Department of Kremenchuk City Council cited by Diakivnych, five apartment buildings comprising a total of 431 flats were damaged, as well as 35 houses. Six houses were destroyed.
