Thirteen-year-old Maksym, who was injured in a Russian attack on Rivne Oblast on 9 October, has died in hospital.

Quote: "Doctors fought to save the life of the 13-year-old boy for almost a day. Throughout this time, people were praying, hoping for a miracle and believing that the child could be saved. Everyone was waiting for good news, everyone hoped that, despite everything, the boy would survive… Sadly, the miracle did not happen. Despite the doctors' efforts, his life was cut short."

Details: Tarhonskyi reported that the boy's funeral would take place in the village of Buda on 11 October.
