Ukrainian General Staff reports strike on Russian drone launch site near Donetsk

Ukraine's defence forces have struck a number of Russian military facilities, including a launch site for attack drones.

Details: The General Staff noted that the systematic targeting of such facilities is aimed at reducing Russia's capability to strike civilian infrastructure across Ukraine.

Quote: "Warehouses containing logistical supplies for Russian units have also been hit near Popova Balka and Hirnyk in Donetsk Oblast."

Background: Ukrainska Pravda reported that on 4 October and on the night of 4-5 October, Ukraine's defence forces struck a Russian facility used for the storage, preparation and launch of attack UAVs as well as a communications hub near Donetsk.
