Details: More than 650 applications have been submitted in total. Ukrainian manufacturers, military units and government institutions can also register on the portal.
The Defence Ministry said TrophyLab contains data on captured Russian weapons that engineers, scientists and defence technology manufacturers in Ukraine and partner countries can use.
The database is populated by units of Ukraine's defence forces, Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and specialised research institutions.
"Every registered researcher can request a sample or a fragment of it for independent study," the ministry said.

Users can access research findings online or request weapon samples for offline analysis.
To gain access to TrophyLab, applicants must complete a form on the platform's website. The Defence Ministry explained that applicants are screened for links to Russia, Ukrainian or international sanctions, and compliance with other mandatory criteria.
Once they pass the checks, users gain access to the catalogue of Russian weapons and the findings of research into them.
The Defence Ministry said that access to TrophyLab enables faster and safer exchanges of information on Russian weapons, helping accelerate the development of effective countermeasures for Ukraine's defence forces. It also contributes to international security and strengthens the defence capabilities of partner countries.
Background:
- As of late August, more than 130 Ukrainian weapons manufacturers and over 300 foreign companies had applied for access to TrophyLab.
- The platform was launched in June 2026 to facilitate research into Russian weapons.
