Zelenskyy: neither US nor Russia has confirmed possible meeting with Putin in Miami

Details: Zelenskyy said the US is working to make a trilateral meeting between the leaders of Ukraine, the US and Russia possible.
Quote: "They have a proposal for a trilateral meeting. This meeting could be in one of the Middle Eastern countries. The United States of America always talks about the Emirates or Saudi Arabia. This meeting could be in the United States of America during the G20 meeting, but there has been no confirmation yet from Russia, nor, accordingly, from the United States of America."
More details: The meeting, he said, could also take place in a European country. "I know that the Europeans are starting to make contact about this. We will see the result a tad later," Zelenskyy added.
Background:
- US President Donald Trump does not yet know whether Russian leader Vladimir Putin will attend the G20 summit in Miami at the invitation of the US.
- In September, the Kremlin stated that a meeting with Zelenskyy in Miami is impossible and that Putin is willing to meet with the Ukrainian leader only in Moscow.
