Initially no warning from partners about Russian overnight attack - Ukraine's Air Force

The Russians launched two waves of ballistic missile attacks on the night of 18-19 October. Ukraine received no advance warning from its international partners before the first wave, but did before the second.

Quote: "There are indeed certain issues, but I want to say right away... there were two ballistic missile strikes. One at 23:00 and the second at 03:00.
Regarding the air-raid warnings, the situation is roughly the same as in previous strikes. Remember when we had 39 missiles in that massive strike? Again, information from our partners did not arrive the first time, but it did the second time.
Essentially, the same thing happened last night. But I want to note that we also have our own sources that inform us about launches. There is a radar field that is tracked within possible limits.
In fact, we reported on our official Telegram, Viber and WhatsApp channels that there was a ballistic missile threat and literally a minute later, the ballistic missiles appeared in the sky. It is therefore a matter of minutes that people have to actually go to a shelter and react in some way, which could truly save lives in the long run.
Therefore, to clarify once again, the information did indeed not come through the first time for certain reasons. Our experts are looking into this together with our partners, as this is not the first time such a situation has occurred. And by 03:00 in the morning, the information had finally arrived."
