Details: The EU is ready to disburse €30 billion to Ukraine by the end of the year if Kyiv implements the agreed reforms.
Quote from Ujvari: "First of all, before we talk about 2027, we need to talk about 2026. If we look at what we have in the pipeline, it comes to a figure of about €30 billion this year for Ukraine."
Details: He added that the bulk of this amount is accounted for by the loan to support Ukraine, while a portion falls outside of it.
"In order for these funds to be disbursed, Ukraine must continue to carry out the relevant reforms," the spokesperson emphasised.
Balazs Ujvari also reported that within the defence component, the European Commission must "obtain the agreements that underpin the already approved production schedules".
