Total of 165 combat clashes occur on battlefield – Ukraine's General Staff
A total of 165 combat clashes have occurred on the battlefield over the past day, with the Russians conducting the majority of their attacks on the South Slobozhanshchyna and Pokrovsk fronts.

Quote: "Yesterday [22 October – ed.], the enemy conducted 3 missile strikes and 76 airstrikes, dropping 239 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy used 10,313 kamikaze drones and fired 2,781 times on the settlements and positions of our troops."
Details: On the North Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russians conducted two attacks near the settlements of Ulanove and Korchakivka.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, Ukraine's defence forces repelled 14 Russian attacks near the settlements of Kovalivka, Anyshchyne, Izbytske, Radkivka and Vilkhuvatka.
On the Kupiansk front, one Russian attack occurred near the village of Petropavlivka.
On the Lyman front, Ukraine's defence forces repelled five Russian attacks near the settlements of Katerynivka, Kolodiazi and Lyman.
On the Sloviansk front, the Russians conducted one attack near the town of Mykolaivka.
On the Kostiantynivka front, 11 Russian attacks occurred near the settlements of Druzhkivka, Novoselivka, Kostiantynivka, Dovha Balka and Pavlivka.
On the Pokrovsk front, Ukraine's defence forces stopped 15 Russian assaults near the settlements of Serhiivka, Molodetske and Novopavlivka and towards Kucheriv Yar, Svitle, Sofiivka, Vilne, Novyi Donbas and Myrne.
On the Huliaipole front, Ukrainian forces repelled 12 Russian attacks near the settlements of Charivne, Ternuvate, Verkhnia Tersa, Kosivtseve, Vozdvyzhivka, Kopani, Novoselivka and Bilohiria.
On the Orikhiv front, Ukrainian defenders repelled one Russian attack near the village of Lukianivske.
On the Oleksandrivka, Kramatorsk and Prydniprovske fronts, the Russians did not conduct active offensive actions.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area.
