Details: Frederiksen is visiting Finland, where foreign ministers from the Nordic countries are meeting on 27-28 October.

The Danish prime minister said she was very sceptical about the initiative by Norway and Finland, adding that it had not been coordinated with any of the other countries.

She stressed that she sees no signs that Russia wants peace with Europe.

Frederiksen said this is evident from both Russia's ongoing hybrid warfare and its daily brutal and aggressive attacks on Ukraine. She added that she believes Europe needs to maintain unity rather than act individually.
