Details: The ministry clarified that the Russians suffered the highest number of boat casualties in July, when the Ukrainian military struck over 230 vessels.
The ministry also noted that every hit is video-recorded in the Delta battlefield situational awareness system and verified by the Brave1 defence innovation cluster.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the number of hits by month since the beginning of the year has been as follows:
- January – 51
- February – 35
- March – 155
- April – 92
- May – 76
- June – 103
- July – 236
- August – 118
- September – 106.
Between 1 and 25 October, the defence forces struck a further 67 Russian boats and speedboats.
The Ministry of Defence stressed that strikes on boats limit the Russian troops' ability to control water areas, transfer personnel and equipment, and resupply their units.
Background: It was recently reported that the defence forces have killed or wounded over 300,000 Russian personnel using drones since the beginning of 2026. The highest number of enemy casualties recorded in the Delta system was in March – nearly 34,000 soldiers.
