Volodymyr Serdiuk, who was named as ’the mastermind of the sabotage and reconnaissance operation’ allegedly conducted by Ukrainian Military Intelligence in Crimea, has said he has no relation to the intelligence services or special operations.

On Saturday night, the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine officially submitted to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption its conclusion on its refusal to certify the state officials’ assets e-declaration system that had been announced on Friday.

Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk claimed that the launch of the e-declaration system without a certificate of information protection compliance can jeopardize Ukraine’s relations with international partners.

During a closed session on Saturday, August 13, a District Court in Simferopol ruled to detain Andriy Zakhtiy, who is accused of attempting to perpetrate terror attacks in Crimea, for two months as a pretrial restrictive measure.

Ridvan Suleimanov, one of the ‘saboteurs’ whom Russia accuses of planning explosions in Crimea, was arrested by the FSB about three weeks ago, Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Refat Chubarov (Refat Çubarov) informed on Facebook.
