Verbatim: "An enemy shell damaged the heating network, the building of the police department and the trade establishments that were nearby, according to preliminary estimates.

A man with a shrapnel wound to the leg was hospitalised".

Details: Procedural actions are underway, the consequences of the explosion are being documented.

Specialised services experts are working on the site to carry out repair work.

The Kyiv City Administration states that Kyivteploenerho's emergency crews are already planning to repair the damage caused by the explosion near the railway station this Thursday.

Experts note that the damage to the pipeline is insignificant. This allows emergency crews to avoid disconnecting customers from vital services: heating and hot water. There will be a separate report if there is a technical necessity to carry out a full range of work and disconnect the supply.

Background: Kyiv saw a missile strike whose target was the Ministry of Defence or the Land Forces Command. The first Russian missile was fired at the Ministry of Defence but was shot down by an air defence system. The wreckage of the rocket fell near the South Railway Station.
