"Kadyrivtsi", or forces from the Russian region of Chechnya named after the region's president, Ramzan Kadyrov, broke into the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) and continue to fight inside against Ukrainian National Guard forces.

Details: The sources informed UP that Kadyrivtsi will now attempt to mine the plant and blackmail Ukraine and the West.

Furthermore, the Russian army is shooting at the firefighters attempting to put out the fire at the NPP.

Background: The Zaporizhzhya NPP caught fire due to shelling by Russian invading forces. Ukraine's Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, stressed that if Zaporizhzhya NPP explodes, the consequences would be 10 times worse than the nuclear meltdown at Chornobyl in 1986.
