Defence Council Secretary: We must be prepared for Russia to use chemical weapons

Oleksii Danilov, National Security and Defence Council (RNBO) Secretary, believes that Russia can use chemical weapons in Ukraine, and the country must be prepared for this.

Quote: "You know that they (Russia - ed.) have used chemical weapons in Syria in the past, despite their use being banned by all international institutions. 

We have a clear awareness that they can do it in our country. We have to be ready for that".

Details: Danilov has noted that Ukrainian Medicine "has undergone some training in this regard". 

At the same time, he expressed the hope that "it will not come to this".
