Quote: "Today we have photos of the people who were killed in the city of Popasna, Luhansk region.

It is difficult to say what kind of soldiers they were. We have a different climate here. And the war is probably different. I don't think they quite expected what they saw here."

Details: Danilov added that the detachment of about 20-25 people was completely wiped out.

At the same time, he noted that it is currently difficult to estimate how many Russian mercenaries from other countries "are roaming the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, which have been partially occupied since 2014."

Danilov suggests that it is hardly a matter of thousands - rather about 300-500 people, because "they cannot physically import more, because they also have an ongoing war there, an active conflict."
