Gas production beginning to decrease in Russia

In April, gas production in Russia amounted to 61.15 billion cubic metres, which is 5.2% less than in April last year.

This was reported by "Interfax" with reference to the data of the Russian Central Dispatching Department of Fuel Energy Complex.

In general, gas production in Russia in January-April 2022 decreased by 0.4% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 261.42 billion cubic metres.

At the same time, the Russian Central Dispatching Department of Fuel Energy Complex doesn’t publish data on "Gazprom" separately. It is included as "estimated" in the production of "other subsoil users", which in January-April 2022 extracted 184.76 billion cubic metres of gas (42.86 billion cubic metres of gas in April).
